From an early age I have had a passion for technology and its ability to drive efficiency and reimagine conventional processes to solve real-world problems. This ultimately led me to pursue my degree in Computer Science from the University of London, providing vital knowledge and industry experience. During my studies, I gained hands-on experience by participating in reputable hackathons held at Oxford University and hosted by UCL's Data Science Society and American Express among others. I also made it a priority to attend talks and conferences led by industry leaders across technology and finance to broaden my perspective. 

After graduating, I joined the prestigious Berenberg Bank - a private bank founded in 1590 - as a Data Scientist/Engineer on their Equities Trading Floor. This fast-paced team of just four operated with a culture of self-management and driving new initiatives travelling between London and Hamburg.

In this role, I developed machine learning models in Python for trading predictions and automated daily processes, eliminating over 40 hours of manual work annually. I proposed and implemented a way to categorize stocks based on trading patterns to better evaluate prediction performance and identify areas for improvement. I also created and updated data visualisations and reports to provide insights to the trading floor and other bank departments on trading activity, stock exchange interactions and Investment Banking activity. I evaluated processes for trading systems checks and downtime alerts, laying out the development plan and requirements for an automated chat bot to provide real-time, trackable notifications. I worked with the Fund Manager for Berenberg's €45 million EM Bonds ESG fund to implement and refine ratings calculations to help guide investment decisions. This involved designing data infrastructure with Python scripts and SQL databases. Through my experience at this renowned institution, I gained significant exposure to deploying impactful technology solutions in complex settings involving huge amounts of data.

After over half a decade living in London and its thriving Tech and Finance landscape, I return to Bangladesh to leverage my diverse skillset and experience to establish an analytics company with a vision is to deliver services and solutions locally and globally.
